Welcome! My name is Ximena (he-men-ah) and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor at Find Your Shine. I aim to create a safe, inclusive space where you can honor your authentic self.

A little about me: 

• I offer services in English and Spanish

• I am originally from Peru but have called Arizona home for most of my life

• In my spare time I enjoy lounging with my partner and our sweet pup

• I graduated with distinction from Arizona State University’s MC Counseling program and am a former intern therapist here at Find Your Shine!

About my work

Specializations/Training:

• I utilize an Existential approach with a holistic Multicultural framework - integrating techniques tailored to meet your unique needs.

• I specialize in trauma and addiction and implement modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, I-CBT and Shame Resilience Theory

I enjoy working with:  ​​

• Those experiencing depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship concerns, OCD, and addiction
